Know When the Room Is Down
The hardest part of a bathroom remodel is usually living without it. We order the tile, vanity and fixtures first and confirm they have arrived before demolition, so the room is out of service for the work itself, not for a delivery delay.
Behind the tile, we focus on the layers that decide how long a bathroom lasts: waterproofing, a properly sloped shower floor and a vent fan that moves moisture outside. The finished bath is covered by our 1-year warranty.
What We Rebuild
-
Showers and tubs
Tub-to-shower conversions and rebuilt showers, with a waterproof layer behind the tile and a floor pitched so water heads straight for the drain.
-
Tile and surfaces
Floor and wall tile laid out before setting, so cut pieces land in less visible spots and grout lines meet cleanly at corners and niches.
-
Vanity, toilet and fixtures
New vanities, tops, faucets, toilets and lighting, with supply lines, drains and circuits adjusted wherever the new arrangement calls for it.
-
Ventilation
Ductwork run to the outdoors and a fan matched to the size of the room, so moisture clears out instead of soaking into paint, grout and drywall.
Settle These Before Tear-Out
-
Only full bath in the house?
If so, tell us early. We can sequence the work to shorten the no-shower stretch, and the calendar shows exactly when you will need a backup plan.
-
Moving fixtures
Moving a toilet or shower means new drain and supply runs, which adds days and cost. Leaving them in place frees money for tile, glass and fixtures.
-
Long-lead items
Custom glass is measured after the tile is set, and some tile and vanities are special order. Both affect your dates, and both go on the calendar.
Before the Tile Comes Off
For how many weeks do we lose the bathroom?
Typically a few weeks once everything is on hand. Moving fixtures or waiting on custom glass adds time, and your calendar shows the exact stretch well before work begins.
Can you keep my existing tub?
Often, yes, if it is in good shape. Keeping a sound tub and updating the walls, vanity and fixtures around it can shorten the job and keep the cost down.
What's Wrong With the Bathroom Now?
Leaks, cracked tile, a cramped shower or just a dated look: tell us what you are dealing with and how many baths the house has. We will talk through the work and the timing.
